BBS Daily Updates

Day 3 Recap:

We are halfway through our week and still having a blast! Today we had a great time of worship thanks to David, Wade and Justin! Poor Mr. Wade never wants to go back to work after he comes to play the drums!

Willowbrook's new Student Pastor for the Madison Campus, Jonathan Herndon, asked the question “What if Heaven is Real? How would it change your life? Students were challenged to share the gospel with others.

During our missions time, we were blessed to hear from Chase Barbrey, our missionary here from Uganda, on the way to Haiti.

BBS students should bring something yummy for the volunteer break room tomorrow Show our awesome volunteers how much you appreciate them pouring into our kids this week! Homemade treats, casseroles, cheese and crackers, small sandwiches, and crock pot dishes are especially appreciated!

Day 1 Recap:

We had such a great first day of BBS!

We started our week off right with David Freeman, Justin Bedingfield and Wade Edwards leading us in worship and Kenny Ladner asking us … What if the Bible is True? Remind your student to bring their Bible with them each day.

Today's mission project will benefit the Good Samaritans of Huntsville. Students made packets of baby wipes and decorated labels for water bottles to distribute to homeless in our own town.

Tomorrow our extra activity will be lunch and a Carnival in the Courtyard. For those paying for the Tuesday activity, we will feed them lunch (hot dog and chips) and they will participate in various activities in the Student Courtyard. Don’t forget sunscreen! Pickup will be at 3:00 behind the building near the portables. It is not too late to sign up for the carnival!

Please make sure your student has the required Medical/Discipline form completed. You may download it at http://wbstudents.com/event/bodacious-bible-school (recommended) or can be filled out upon arrival.

Students who have chosen not to attend the extra activities will be released from the outbuilding at 12:00 as usual.

We had a bit of confusion regarding the text reminder signup today. We remedied the problem and reassigned a new code. To sign up for text message notifications for all of the updates and reminders you need for BBS16, please send a text to: 81010 with the message: @bbs16
